She has worked in immigration law since 1995 in both corporate and law firm settings, including managing the employer compliance program and immigration team in the US and Canada for one of the “Big 4” account firms’ multi-national consulting practice. She has worked with individuals and employers of all sizes, public and private, on strategies for workforce migration and compliance, family unity, and humanitarian needs, temporary and permanent. Ms. Blasingame has successfully represented clients before the US Departments of Labor, State, Justice, and Homeland Security. Ms. Blasingame has written and edited articles and presented on various topics in immigration law. She earned her JD from the University of Denver, Sturm College of Law, in 2010, where she was a senior staff editor on the Denver University Law Review, participated in the DU asylum clinic, and received a scholastic excellence award in advanced immigration law. She earned her BA in English with minors in Communication Arts and French from Allegheny College in Meadville, PA. Ms. Blasingame is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), Colorado Women’s Bar Association, and the El Paso County Bar Association in Colorado.
